transmission in 1997 cl 3.0 acting up.
I've searched and found all kinds of posts on transmission problems with the 01 and up CL-S and none on the '97 so don't flame me for asking this question.
It shifts fine under full throttle and part throttle. After accelerating to speed, if I lift throttle it doesn't upshift smoothly but suddenly jerks into the next gear. it also shifts strangely for a few minutes when the car is cold and then clears up. The fact that the transmission is shifting and still goes would lead me to believe that the transmission is not trash, but maybe needs minor service, or perhaps there is a bad solenoid or an ECU problem. Any ideas? Again please do not flame me for asking this question
