Hey guyz, Quick stupid question. I'm putting in the 450cc's into my d16y8, i was wondering if i need to transfer the plastic piece that clips on the stock injector(at the bottom of the injector clips on the end that spray the fuel) , over to the DSM 450's. Every writeup i see doesnt mention these plastic peices. Just want to be 100% on what to do so i dont mess anything up.

first things first you have a resistor box dont you?

 

I think you're talking about the pintel caps. The answers no you can't transfer them

Your DSM 450's SHOULD have black ones on them, but many times they're busted off, no biggie. They're used to protect the pintel in case you drop them or hit it or somthing. All you need to do is make sure you dont mess up the pintel. If the pintel's ok, then your fine. Those caps dont affect spray or anything.
