nonreclinable seats for bigger fellas.
i want to get a non reclinable seat. but everytime i see one i like, in my head i say can i fit that. my waist is 40-42 and i weight 235lbs. i was just wondering where to find one.
I know corbeau makes a seat that kind of big. Its called the Forza 2, it got a tube steel frame so I dont know if you care about that. But i know they have the normal Forza, then one thats wider also. Im pretty sure its that companies equivelant of the Sparco Sprint or Speed seat. Try out http://www.corbeau.com/product...shtml#

I'm a little over 6 ft, weigh in about 205 lbs and fit perfectly into my Sparco Evo 2. I think my waist is like 32 or 34- I always wear pants that are loose.
Sparco makes an Evo 3....the Evo's are VERY well constructed, but be prepared to spend a pretty penny on an Evo 3

evo 2 runs around like 500+ per seat and u still have to buy brackets/sliders
but if you really want a good seat if your a husky guy i would go corbeau fx1
cant really beat it its a full fiber glass seat that will fit someone with a 40in waist
they go for about 400 shipped or u can buy mine for 275 with railing that cheaper than a freaking sparco sprint!!!!!

Wow, just wow...
In all seriousness though, make sure you sit in them before you buy them. That's a GREAT rule when buying seats.

Just because someone is big doesn't mean they are fat. Some people are just big. I'm 230 pounds and 38" around the waist. I'm not fat either.
on topic: Sparco makes the EVO 2 and EVO 3 for those of us with a bigger build.

And you should be shot in the head.
Not everybody is a little 5'2" shrimp that can fit into an oversized babyseat. I'm 6'4" and have a 38" waist. If I had the waist of somebody that can COMFORTABLY fit into one of those seats I sure as hell wouldn't look right.
With that being said, **** you.

EK22snatch, that was some pretty stupid **** to say, funny thing about it is that you are probably the type of person who is scared of bigger people in person, but you are a internet thug. Back to the topic at hand
Their is a sale going on right now with one of the sponser who is selling Sparco products, and he gave me a price of $564 shipped for an Evo3. I'm located in PA by the way.

6'5" with a 30-31" waist here lol... Anyways, I only dont like people who are unhealthily overweight because they are lazy and eat too much, as for those who are big because they are... they still are healthy and not necessarily lazy so its all good.
One thing I dont like though, related to big guys.. is the average max weight for seats or other smaller vehicles like ATVs is 250lbs... I am 200 and pretty skinny id say... I could easily be at 250 in no time while still not looking huge.. Therfore... Why are cars and other small personal vehicles made for sub 6 foot tall people who are under 250, when men now (only guys matter in this since ladies are generally smaller sorry I dont mean to affend) are popping up well over 6 foot more and more often, which also means weight goes up. I dont see too many shorter people around anymore. And cars that actually fit people my size stock are way less than few and far between. The cars can still be easily made for shorter people, height adjust and sliding the seat back work great... But why have a seat slider that must go all the way to the steering wheel ..... when no one sits that close, and it could be moved back a little. Or a height adjust that makes it so someone 5'10" can sit up ok at the lowest point without ghetto leaning. and then have the highest point ok for someone that is like 4' nothing.. I have not sat in one car, ever... since I turned 16... where my most comfortable zone of sitting was anything less than all the way back. and the lowest height adjust if any was enough to make me not have to ghetto lean, which is uncomfortable

The seats for fat-asses are the Sparco Evo 2/3 and the OMP Extra. I run the Extra in the rally car and they work well.
I'm about 6'2" and 210lbs, I wear 36-38" waist sizes depending on brand. I think when I originally bought the OMP Extras I was probably about 220-225lbs.
Originally we named the team Fatboy Raceworks because we were the biggest guys around all these little dudes.

Awesome advise. Nothing worse than buying a set of seats only to find out when you get home that they're not wide enough for your shoulders
