i have heard that it depends on sea level. for some reason one obvious becuz of air flow. i have also heard that if u change the head and the pistons it will make a big difference u may want to give us more info like what motor setup u are running and what not.

If they don't say in their original posts, we should not answer questions like this at all. Espeically when their name is RiceLover.....

well I looked at this mind-****'s recent topics and it appears he has an LS, so he's wondering if he should go LS/VTEC with a p72 head. The answer is this: search n00b, it's pretty obvious that you just bought this car and know absolutely nothing about it (ie: you have "dc racing headers and neuspeed suspension"). The answer to all your questions lies in the search function. Try searching for "LS/VTEC" in the archive. Or better yet, head on over to clubcivic.com or clubsi.com, they might be able to help you better

I THINK...

when a shop said 5 hp, maybe if you were to just slap the head on?( cant really litterally slap vtec heads on ls blocks, you going to need lsvtec kits, or drilling out your dower pin hoels to fit the pins in the right spot, need some way to get oil to vtec and blahlah blah) the head on?

30++ when you get a p72 or some sort of vtec ecu so you are actually vtecing?

That may clarify the wide range of answers you are getting.

btw, go seach chump.
