Ok, ive seen many people askin whether or not their times are good or whatever. I think we need a thread where you just post your times, mods, and any other relevant info so that people see what others with similar set-ups are running. Ill start things off.

1990 Integra GS 2-door
5 speed
Bone stock
248,000 all original miles, including stock clutch
Dayton 195-65-R14 tires (teh suck)
No seats except for drivers.
1st time for me with this car at the track

R/T .701 (worst of the night for me)
60 ft. 2.323 (Dayton tires)
330 ft. 6.620
594 ft. 9.51
1/8th ET. 10.170
1/8th MPH 69.43

I know my 60 foot times are crap, but i think is mainly the tires. I was launching at about 5k, and I managed to cut a few .588 R/Ts. Nextt ime to the track, I may throw on some N2O or slicks and pray that my clutch holds up.

I was proud of my **** box daily driver. Got home and checked the compression:
205 205 195 206
Pretty damn good for that many miles, all original, and as much as I rag on it.

Conditions: 6000 ft above sea level, 85 degrees, 35 psi in kumho 712's, illuminas set at 5, brand new slippery strip. For this run, I did a 6500 rpm clutch slip. I had an intake and exhaust, stock clutch.

Reaction time: .894
60 ft: 2.652
660 ft: 11.014
e.t.: 16.994
MPH: 83.356

Compression test was something stupid like 200, 150, 80, 250. I was burning more oil than gas when I went out that time.

What do you mean by stripped? As in no seats, or as in only having a steering wheel? You seemed to be a little faster at top end than me. Maybe its that 10 extra horses on the 3rd gen.

Maybe try launching at about 4500-5000 rpm, deflate your tires to about 25 psi, do a nice burnout in the water box to warm thise babies up too. That should help out your 60' times. Im gonna take some air pressure out of my tires next time if i cant get some slicks by then.

Bad idea with the water box... Driving through the water box on street tires hurts you more than helps. Especially without LSD...

Slicks need to be hot to function properly, hence the burnout - all you're doing when you burnout on street tires is toasting your tread. And if you don't have LSD, one wheel (likely the passenger wheel with less weight and shorter shaft distance to transaxle) is going to be cooked and one will still be wet.

BTW, this should be in the Drag Racing forum. And there's plenty of track time posts in that forum too.
