H22 Axles in 92 4 door accord
My friend just put in a 94 H22A1 into his 92 accord and the shop told him that they had to fuse the axles together from a prelude and an accord? Is this true or are they just lying so that he could go back to their shop if something happens to the axles? Thanks
I think I'm have trouble with axles. My swap uses 4g Prelude VTEC axles. Any other axles were too long or too short. The axles seem to work fine, except the driver's side axle starting ticking 4 months after the swap. I ordered a pair of axles from Raxles (http://www.raxles.com) and they sent me axles based on their experiences with hybrids. I'm not too sure what they sent me... I think the passenger side is a 4g Prelude axle and the driver side is a 4g Accord axle. Well the 4g Prelude axle worked fine on the passenger side, but the driver side axle is totally wrong... it has a female connection on the end that connects to the intermediate shaft... whatever axle should go here needs a male end. I've got to return this axle for a 4g Prelude one... I'm pretty sure that will work.
