I have a 93 Del sol automatic and I sometimes when I put it in reverse it doesn't reverse.
All the other gears seem to work fine. It goes into reverse but it doesn't reverse.

Any advice?

 

awww man that sucks.. YOU CAN put it in neutral and push!! lol
yeah we were burning out in my friends mom 4dr civic for fun and it wouldnt go into reverse... what we did was just mess with it, and in about 10 minutes of panicking and whatnot we got it to work..

 

yer tranny's going bye bye. I have a 93 del sol, used to be auto and reverse was the first thing to go, then the torque converter. Don't feel bad...just get a 5speed. Look at this as an opportunity to make your car better, that's what i did.
