Default Catalytic converter help with my jdm header?

Mufflertech has the jdm cat made for the jdm itr header but the o2 is place at the rear section of the cat, how many inches from the flange should i have them place the o2 sensor. Also, after installing this cat, will my check engine light go away? thanks

what year is your car?
94-95 is obd1
96+ is obd2 requiring the o2 sensor on the cat in addition to the one on the header.

Do you know what code you are thowing to cause the CEL?

Im not really understanding your question. It already has an o2 bung placed in the rear of the cat? Thats where the second o2 should be.

First o2 is before the cat and the second goes in after. The jdm itr header has a o2 bung.

I thought there was a o2 bung on the header and then one before the cat converter.

I do not understand your question too. There 2 HO2 (Heated) sensors, one before and one after the cat. There gotta be holes for them already drilled out... Anyways, you said that your MIL is on..... how are you driving your car that, in what condition is your exaust system? (no cat!? )

oh ok, then you need one in the back of the cat. What i did was did it behind the cat, in the b-pipe. It doesnt matter where, just behind the cat.

Thats strange, i have an o2 sensor bung on my jdm itr header??

Thanks for the help! Would the jdm cat for integras from mufflertech.com be a good buy.

It would, but it might be a little restrictive. Im have no experience myselft, just feedback from others. Another option is you can go with a carsound.

But yes, both will work.
