Hey everybody, Mike has asked me to design the Calendar (yes, I am a professional designer..). To make this the best calendar possible we will have to use high resolution photos or the print of them will turn out pretty badly.
What is high resolution? It has nothing to do with the dimensions of the photo (800x600, etc.). Resolution is all about the number of pixels/inch in the photo. Most photos posted on the Web are 72 pixels/inch and this is fine because you are looking at it ona screen, but when printed on a piece of paper it just doesn't work. For quality printing we will need photos of at least 300 pixels/inch and the largest dimensions possible so the can be resized.
For those with digital cameras there is a setting that will allow you to change the resolution of the photos you are taking. This means most everybody will have to take new photos of their R at a high-resolution setting, but this also means you can set up some new sexy shots of your R to get in a calendar.
If you have any questions about what is needed just let me know.

If you guys can stand my presence for a while, ... I can bring a white one.
I'm ok with it.Bryan
am i elegible if i have a eg with itr 5 lug conversion and 98 rims and other type R goodies? and my car is yellow kinda like spoon yellow
ohh, very nice EP. Here's a photo layout I made awhile ago for my car. However if I did put mine in, I would up date it with the new factory kit that I put on, plus I would take a new picture of the engine area with all my Spoon hoses, etc...
ALSO--- A friend of mine works at Kinko's. He has mentioned to me about making a calander several times. I will see what his thoughts are on making this work right. I have all the latest photo software, etc... here, so making this shouldn't be that hard.

You guys don't need to worry about doing photo layouts or printing - I'll be taking car of all of that. All I need is all your high resolution photos (see above...)
Please email them to me at TypeRmsm@aol.com
Along with your HT member Name.
Yeah that'd be great Mike,
Goto: http://www.b18c5.com and see if my sleepeR in the Galleries under 11/11 Palisades would look nice? You could also do a collage of wrecked R's and include my PY.
If so I have those shots and alot more that I'll Email ya. Or you could just take 'em still I think.
Take a look and let me know Mike,
Anton

1. Are Aussie ITR's allowed?
2. Do you want just single shots or are you wanting to combine shots like EPGONSALEZ has?
Eitherway, I would like to see the finished pictures or better yet, get hold of a copy?

Cheers for the vote TypeRmsm....I have two questions to those in charge of this project -
1. Are Aussie ITR's allowed?
2. Do you want just single shots or are you wanting to combine shots like EPGONSALEZ has?

2. Single pictures are best, but if you have multiple good photos send them and when designing the calendar something cool can be done. Shots like the one EPGONSALEZ posted (it was cool) limits what can be done graphically and we should keep our options open...
