my stolen integra - stripped parts recovered
my car was stolen on september 11th, and found 4 days later. motor was gone, brakes, rims/tires, etc.
i receive a call today from a detective asking me to describe my rims, i described my set of rota slipstreams and falken azenis down to the small nick out of the back left rim. the detective, regretfully informed me, those weren't the rims out of the stash they found. He then asked me about my motor - again i described it down to the gear ratios of the tranny and the slight oil leak out of the ls/vtec oil feed line.
there was a slight pause...
the detective then told me he had my motor sitting next to him in his office! fuggin tyt! he told me he had some other random parts that might've belonged to me as well.
no point to this story, just wanted to share how happy i am!
cliff notes: detective called me and said he recovered parts from my stripped/stolen car - theives were caught, w00t!

That's really good news.
I also wanted to know what happens to the parts once they are recovered. Do they auction it off or give it to the insurance company or return it back to the owner or what?

Hopefully the cops got the chance to throw their asses to the ground and rub their faces into the concrete real good. Next, let's hope they spend some time in a cell getting *** raped. Lmao. Glad to see they got caught.

well on tuesday im going into the station to talk with the cop. My insurance didn't compensate me for most of my ugrades, thus i keep them.
rims and tires and the motor i get to keep, given they find they rims and tires - but yea, my insurance didn't give me **** for my fully ubilt motor.
oh wellz.

belive it or not..
i have a close friend of mine, had his CRX stolen, fresh paint job, and a SIR front end and SSR type X's.. black with red lip (pretty rare right). he heard them burn out once they started it, and called it in imediatly.
belive it or not.. 2 days later, within 10 miles of our hometown, the wheels were for sale Honda-Tech in the classifieds.
i got with the local detectives, and they set him up to pick the wheels up. nailed his ***.
all in all, he was a minor, and got a slap on the hand or community serivice or soemthing... but you know after we found out who he was, the boys paid him a visit and he got checked. lol

Good to hear. My friend with an Si that was stolen was recovered as well. I’m glad there getting some of these *** holes! Cars are getting stolen left and right here.

That's dope to hear that the cops came through for ya like that... They have a really difficult job in those types of cases... i mean.. they really have **** to go on. But its good to hear when things like this happen. to the cops.
