CABLE OR HYDRO?
i just bought a 94 integra ls with a b16a motor in it. the motor mounts are really weak and the engine shakes also the tranny moves. the previous owner of the car said that i only need to replace the motor mounts because the ones on right now are worn out and that should solve the problem. i called a shop and ordered replacement upgrade mounts and they asked what engine i had and i said b16a. they asked whether it was a cable or hydro tranny. i called the previous owner again and asked him and he said it was a hydro tranny. so i ordered the mounts. now im having second thoughts whether or not the engine is a cable or hydro tranny and worried that the mounts i have right now wont fit because the company that makes the mounts have kits for b16a into a dc2 for cable and hydro. im stressing that i might have got the wrong one. i know that the b16a 88-91 have cable trannies. the b16a2 have hydro tranny. the guy said he dropped the 88-91 b16a but he said that you cant install a cable tranny into a dc2 and that its impossible. is there any way i can find out if my car is cable or hydro by looking at the engine?
