I NEED HELP..my brake lights won't turn off

i change the brake light switch, and checked the fuse but it still won't turn off what can it be..

make sure your e-brake is all the way down... have you messed with the e-brake lately?

I think hes talking about his actual brake LIGHTS meaning the back of the car. Or are you???
