I put down 170 with just an intake and crappy muffler on stock piping. The air temp was 96 degrees though! All dyno's are different. I wouldn't be dissapointed, but not . Get some bolt on mods and things will get a little better

Yeah, every dyno is different. I don't know by how much, but I'm sure your dyno is reading a little lower. I put down 174 whp practically stock. Only mod was a test-pipe, cam gears and fuel regulator. The stock exhaust really held me back.

As mentioned, all dyno's are different and vary according to the smallest details such as elevation, temperature, humidity, etc. If you ran a bit leaner, you'd probably throw down a few extra horses.

your best off comparing consecutive dynos of your car or at least with similar dynos. I heard the dynapak dynos read lower numbers, but it shouldnt matter if your comparing it to your old numbers.

i'm pretty sure if i got a fuel pressure reg and a v-afc. i can tune the car to run leaner (around 13.5 a/f) and probably get to the 175-180whp range. what should the car be dynoing with my mods ????

VAFC is your friend If you get the air/fuel tuned you will see a nice increase in HP. With bolt ons on my car I was putting down stock whp....a lil tuning on the vafc and I picked up about 17whp.

Go and dyno it at P1. He has many different ITR plots there that you can compare it to. Jack =

Your mods list includes an OBD2-OBD1 conversion harness, but not what ECU. A generic Mugen or Skunk program? Get something programmable and watch your numbers climb.

:soap box: Does the car feel good? If so fugg the numbers, dynos should be used as tuning devices not as measuring sticks cause they're all different. :soap box:

That being said I think 164 sounds about normal for your mods

Agreed.

You may also want to consider getting that 100shot on the car asap... .

even though those numbers "sound" low, i bet it'll still run faster than a stock itr dyno'ing higher #'s with that ATS final drive...

i wouldn't sweat it too much.

that is a little low, but every dyno is different and conditions are always different.

your a/f ratios is a little on the rich side. you could venture 2 points leaner.
