Now that Expo 5 is underway at MAM let's start considering venues for Expo 6.

I suggested Mosport but some you guys didn't really like the idea of it because of the walls. But how about Shannonville in the Pro Track configuration? ( http://www.shannonville.com/ )

It's a fairly good flowing track layout with grass run offs.

Pretty cool video. It reminded me of the "Overtake" challenge on Project Gotham 2.

 

BUT the people on the west coast can't do what happened last year. there has to be a turnout, enough to keep the event open if the eastcoast crew can't come out that way.

I say collect the non refundable money, 6 months in advanced if its going to be held on the WC.

 

I'm in f'sho! I love driving my R, but not for 30+ hours straight...unless I can retro-fit this into my car

Oh well I'll let you guys know next year of the track days here in Ontario. Some of you guys may want to make a North of the border excusion and try your hand at some of the tracks up here. They are more reasonably priced at an average of about $140 CDN.

East side rules for ITR Expo attendance.

Audis were in attendance on that session. There were a bunch of cars there that day, it was open lapping.

Jay-Z is hype. May be heading down to NY to attend his concert in a couple of weeks. The DJ Dangermouse Grey Album mix is crazy, taking this song to whole new level.

 

hopefully for the upcoming expo, more west coasters will be willing to attend.

Just in case any of you Ontario folks need more track time these days...we are running a lapping day on Monday October 11th at Mosport`s long track.
200$ Canadian gets you in....there will be instructors and a good time will be had.
At least 3 Type-R`s will be there including myself.

We will take walk in registration until last minute...

Hope to see a few of you out there!!!!!!

Lapping with no rules! Very scary. Lets go 3 abreast into Nelson Turn 1 pfffffffffffft WTF!? Let me tell you it was dangerous to go out yesterday. Wish I had brought the video camera. I never seen so many off track excusions.

Beautiful FD3S, got to play on the track with this car. Blowing flames all over. Was very cool.

Thanksgiving day traffic on the 401 was unbearable. Took 3hrs to cover 150kms.
