any of you guys want to buy my old cover? i painted it grey (look at my sig) i just bought another cover so i have this one laying around. $60 plus shipping.
To polish I would strip the paint. Clean the cover really well. Then using a buffing wheel (not a pad like you use to wax a car) and some buffing compound just polish it. You can get buffing wheels at Home Depot and Lowes, however, their compounds are ussually pretty old and dry. Lowes, I think, has some better stuff than HD but you can always get good compound from Eastwood.

the cover i got looked just like the one in the pic except all scratched up. I personally do not feel comfortable driving around like that with the belt exposed.

heheh... it is amazing though how a few hours and some simple green can make HUGE difference. then i started getting picky and taking off nuts and sanding them and painting them along with miscellaneous little brackets and whatnot.
Hey does the VHT Wrinkle Plus Red paint come in blue it looks nice.. how much time did it take to do and did you change your gaskets as well and primer it?
