help! car idleing up and down

Default help! car idleing up and down

ok i have a fresh built b18c1 i have a skunk2 intake manifold sleeved block O ringed 8-5-1 comp ported head just incase it makes a diff when i first start the car up it runs normal for like 10 secs then it starts to lope the check engine light is on it's marking the iac valve but when i disconect it it deoes nothing i checked my vacum lines and all that and found nothing thanks

theres obviously something wrong with your IAC valve or it wouldnt be doing this.

How old/new is the motor?

the motor is like a month old but the intake has been sitting for like a year and a half and i think it is the original iacv from 94

Just replace your IACV and you should be fine

just go to the dealer, they quoted me for under 200 bucks, and when i went to an autoparts store they quoted me like almost 240, so am gonna get mine from the dealer as soon as i get me some cash
