Default cam storage

I am planning on buying type r cams here in the next few weeks and was wondering how to store these until i get cam gears for them. Someone mentioned in a previous post that you need to keep them lubed, but i forgot what he said to use. Could someone please help me out with this. Any info would be great. Thanks!!!

Lube them up with WD-40 and wrap them in bubble wrap.
