Anyone have a secret stock of Mugen 26mm rear swaybars????
Well I guess
to me for waiting so long to buy one because now they're discontinued and King says no stock left in the US or Japan
Anyone have one lying around or know of anyone who may by some slim chance still have them in stock? If I'm not able to find the 26mm bar I'll probably just go for the JDM bar, just can't justify paying $400 for the Mugen 24mm bar.
Thanks in advance, I'm keeping my fingers crossed

Does anyone here have the 26mm bar? I'd like to hear what they think of it. Although that's a lot thicker, I can't imagine the rear end of the ITR getting that much stiffer.
I must be the only one that thinks that bar is a complete waste of money.
why not get a properly designed rear bar ?
and yes , the rear of the ITR can be much stiffer.

Just curious, where exactly are the mounting points for the Ground-Control bar?

I remember reading about certain bars being better when they mount to the shock mounts in the rear? I may be totally off though.

the farther outboard it mounts the better it works.
ITR/OEM mount points are terrible IMO.

It must have been one of your posts where I got that notion from.

i know a lot of others have the 26mm mugen rear sway. hopefully they too can post here. and there sure are a lot of threads [archived] that you can refer to. in a nutshell - i love it. i drove around with the b6 zeals (10kg/mm, 6kg/mm) with the stock 22mm bar for about a month before installing it. the suspension by itself was a huge improvement. but after adding the rear bar, the turn in on the car was much sharper and "cleaner".
the way i understand it, the front and rear sway bars are ineffective ways of totally revamping your suspension. they merely tune the front and rear. the bulk of the suspension improvement come from the springs and dampers. so if you're expecting a world of a difference, you'll be disappointed. if you're looking for less lean in the rear and sharper turn-in, you'll be really impressed.
kepani-who knows chris will love it...if it can ever be found.
