hey guys, i contacted super autobac via email if they had any mugen front lip for accords and they said that they contacted Mugen and said that they dont make lips for accords. Sorry if this is old news, but i dont know much about mugen so this is kind of new to me. So when someone claims they have "mugen" front lips are the lips knock offs or do they mean its justt the style of mugen? thanks for reply

I believe mugen does not make any more lips for the accord. If memory serves me correctly the orginal ones were made of fiberglass. Everybody that has a "mugen" lip has the ABS plastic knock-off from ebay. You could always give King Motorsports a call, they would definately know for sure

 

the real mugen lips for 5th gen accords was discontinued years ago... the ones that everyone claims they have are knock-off civic mugen lips. the "mugen" style lips for accords arent even close to real one.

 

they do make "MUGEN STLYE" tho.

 

Yeah.....I just bought one of the knock-offs for my wagon. Until I can afford to import the JDM kit I want...it'll have to do.

 

just buy a cheap one from e-bay they are actually good quality

The only cosmetic things Mugen makes for a 7th gen is actually a Acura TSX. Which is the JDM Accord.

 

actually mugen did not even make any LIP for accord 5th gen, they only hv the whole front bumper and whole kit which is not good looking, but only the duck lip spolier is good

 

yes they did make a lip kit, but it has been discontinued. It's actually more of a half bumper than lip kit though. King Motorsports used to sell them for like $450 or something.

yes they do, the 7th gen in japan is called the inspire, though...





also, mugen made two seperate front pieces for the two different series of 94-97 accords...

they made a full front bumper for the 94-95 that looks like this:



and then they made a front lip for the 96-97 front bumpers that looks like this:




and on a side note, the new mugen honda legend is ******* amazing looking:

these "mugen-style" lips are not authentic by any means...they are made to replicate the front lip of the civic mugen lip, but do a horrible job...i personally think these lips look like trash, and make the tuner looks cheap, but that's just my feel on the situation...

yeah i do, it's not on the car right now, but will be back on soon...the only pics i have of it are off the car...i'll try and snap some when it goes back on though

That 7th gen lip kit looks awesome, but i was wondering more to the 2dr application. or does it not matter. and where would i be able to get it here in the states? if it's possible to get it here that is...

well, my first guess would be to call king motorsports...they are the only official mugen distributor in the states that i'm aware of...but expect to pay the mugen price for mugen parts...the front bumper on the 2 dr and 4 dr appear to be the same shape, so i don't see why the 4dr front lip wouldn't fit...the side skirts and rear lip are another story though as the body is different in these two places...but who knows, call king and they should be able to find out for you...
