i just gota used 97 accord ex and when i start it cold the belts make this annoying screeching sound for maby 10-20secs i had then replaced and they stoped for about 3 days and then i took it back and they said they adjusted them and they were ok for about 2 weeks now there doin the same thing again what do i do with them should i replace them again and can u tell me how i can do it my self i dont wunna have to keep goin to the shop

 

damn...my belts are doin the same thing. i think its my ps belt though. i think the belt is too loose.

 

On most of the H22/F22 motors if the Alt. belt does not get tightened right it will work itself loose. Best thing is to try to tighten the alt. belt if you know how if not then find a person that works on them the most and have them do this for you.
The 14mm bolt under the P.S. pump is the one that never gets tightened enough most of the time letting the alt. belt get loose again.
