So are 88-89 and 90-91 very different ? Will crx or integra gauge clusters work?

I'm an EF newb.

 

You can use one from an 89 Si hatch. I not too sure which trim levels came with tachs. My 89 CRX DX cluster had a tach. Or if you can find a JDM ZC or EDM one, those should fit, however your speed will be in KM/H and those are kindy pricey too. 88-89 are different from 90-91 (wiring pinouts).

I put a cluster from a 91 4 door lx in my 88 hatch. Plug and play. Fully functional.

I believe dx and lx are wired the same. Si and hf are different.

I'm going to say dx/lx are similar and si/hf are similar.
