89 Accord Hatchback possibilites
My uncle is selling his 89 Accord LXi Hatchback for $200. It's got 280,000 miles on it, but I think I can change it into a crazy sleeper. It has a 2.0 L engine, and I'm wondering if an H22 would fit? I really like the hatchback's style and it would be cool to have an 80's era car. He said the only problem right now is that the head gasket is leaking, needs new muffler, and there are a few minor problems that are easy to fix. He said the back deck in the window is warped, but I was planning on removing it anyway. I was looking around and there are quite a few aftermarket parts (not an abundance, but a decent selection) and I'm always up for fabrication!
*EDIT*I forgot to mention that it is the 5-speed.
Does anyone have any experience with these cars or have any suggestions as to what can be done with it? I think it would be funny to roll up in this blast from the bast, and blow by all kinds of other cars

just letting you know, this has been covered a bunch of times...
an h22 would need custom mounts, custom axles, etc... basically everything about the install would be custom. a b-series motor would be a better choice. Place Racing, Inc. has all the necessary parts for the swap.

philadd: I have done numerous searches on this site and on google, and have found nothing. Do you know of any links I could check out?
-thanks a lot!

ok, I found the site. It's http://www.3geez.com/ for anyone else that needs info on these cars. It's actually an entire forum devoted to 3rd gen. Accords! All my questions will be answered! YEAH!
