hi guys,
I was wondering how common it is for people to use SAFCs on VTEC motors just to add or subtract fuel. I have a Kenji chipped ECU with a 5500 RPM VTEC x-over and I am happy with where the VTEC x=over is at. I was just thinking about getting a SAFC to fine tuel the fuel a little.
For those of you that dont know my setup:
CRX w/ B18C-SirG
SKunk2: IM, S1 cams, cam gears
DC Sports GSR 4-1
Greddy SP2
2.25" testpipe in the near future

From my understanding the SAFC and VAFC add or subtract fuel in 5% increments every 500 or 1000 RPMs. But dont quote me on those numbers, just a wild guess. Anyways, most pre-burned chips or plug and play ECUs are meant for a set of mods. With an AFC I can also fine tune the fuel curve for my specific environment, temp, octane, etc etc.
