What rpm do they make power to?

 

I'm pretty sure it's 8000rpm.

CTRs make power up to 8400rpm.

 

i think they die off after 8000 rpms just like the ITR intake cams. 8400 is just their redline.

 

I have a GSR, do i need to upgrade the valvetrain for reliability? When i get these in and tuned i will be reving like everyday. Also is the stock ecu good or should i get something else. I have a VAFC, is that good enough?

 

you should upgrade the valve train, at least the intake springs to R springs. If you want to rev to 8400 your doing to need a ECU or chip you existing one. Vafc is good, you will need that to adjust the new vtec crossover and to fine tune the fuel. Get cam gears and maybe a FPR while your at it.

 

everyone I know with CTR/ITR cams are using stock GSR valve springs inclyding myself. Everyone also has stock redline.

 

As far as power mods is that all you have? what I/H/E do you have?

 

custom 2.5' exhaust, JDM ITR 4-1, Comptech CAI, Carsound cat.
