Default v6 in '94 right?

I ran into problems with my insurance company when i asked about dropping in the h22a1 in my 94dx. So now im considering the v6. However, I have heard that honda didn't make a 94 Accord with a v6. I do know they made 95 v6's. But didn't they only come with automatic transmissions?

Also the V-6 from back then wasn't much bang for the buck, it was a 2.7 I believe and only put out like 10 more HP than the 4. I could be wrong but doesn't seem worth it. What is the Insurance Company's problem with it exactly? Will they not insure the car? Figure it this way, if you never told them, and the car was stolen or in an accident, they would pay you what it would cost to replace the car for book value, unless you want them to insure it plus the added engine but they wouldn't do that even if you had to get the same standard engine due to it going. It's late and I'm probably making no sense but do you know what I mean?

OK looked it up, looks like it was available in 1995 and it was a 2.7 liter good for 170 HP and 165 FT lbs. NOt a huge jump up considering that you'd have to get a whole new front end. I was wrong about the HP sorry!
