I've seen that HKS intake for at least a year now. It's basically an AEM style intake with a protective casing around the filter...but 4 times more expensive. Yowza!

My friend has one on his '96Spec ITR.

The main advantage of this over something like AEM is the lack of induction noise. When I sat in his car, it was quite stealthy. The HKS Dragger exhaust he installed also was quite nice and quiet.

Many angles though....

Which is rather odd because the HKS PF is usually incredibly loud.

Oh yeah definitely the short-ram fitment of a HKS SPF filter usually means loud intake noise but the suction kit places the filter inside a box and isolates it all the way into the wheel well... it seems to work quite well to keep noise minimal and I guess means no hot engine bay air gets in either...
