I currently have an arospeed N1 style 2.5" muffler.... connected to my 2.5" piping... connected to a somewhat worked over b18c1.

The muffler is OK with the silencer on.. and loud with it off... I enjoy the little gains w/o the silencer... but would not run it daily.

I can get an OEM muffler off of a DC5 ITR in trade for my arospeed. The itr muff has a 2.25" inlet with a 2.5" outlet. I know it will quiet me down for sure and possibly rob a hp or two over the straight thru arospeed.

Would the ITR be worth it for the smaller exhaust note or would it be wayy to restrictive ?

Definately trade for the ITR muffler. You'll get higher quality, a quieter tone and really not lose much in HP.

 

the itr muffler is already pretty free flowing, maybe not a free a ur arospeed or any after market muffler but itr is way better than any stock muffler and it sounds good and looks good 2..

ok... I went ahead and picked up the ITR muffler. I figured... what the hell... fitting it will be half the fun.

I might put it on as early as this weekend if I get my ecu sorted out... so if anyone wants tech info, measurements, etc on it... let me know asap.
