SOME OLD COUPLE HIT ME! i'm so mad! first wreck in 5 years of driving. took out the passenger side fender, passenger side headlight, and hood. luckily that was all the damage and even more lucky noone was hurt. i'm really glad it wasn't my fault. i was riding towards a 4 way intersection. my road had no stop signs through the intersection, theirs did. when i reached the intersection, they reached it at the same time, they didn't stop at their stop sign and tried to turn left in front of me (they were coming from my right). it was wet out from the hurricane rain and my wheels locked up. by the time i hit them i was only doing 15ish mph (good thing i do the speed limit everywhere or else it could have been disastrous.)

good thing is i got some money out of the incident. i was able to order jdm fenders (i know it seems like a rip, but they had them in black and in good condition so why not.) jdm headlights, so i to am now a bandwagoneer, and a carbon fiber something or rather hood (oem style). soon my car will get a fresh make over w/ the body work and a new coat of GDP to top it all off. i'm going to paint the hood too cause CF is just ugly to me.

all i have to say about everything is: allstate insurance company = , passwordjdm.com = (they really have awesome customer service and the phone reps even remember my name when i call them back), and DHL shipping company is kinda crappy cause they lost my hood in transit somewhere around utah, took a week longer than expected. i didn't need the hood right away, but if i did, i woulda been pissed.

 

Make sure to get an alignment, and check your suspension components for any damage.

 

It's nice to hear that you were able to put it all back together again. Every day I watch out for stuff like that, I'm just overly paranoid I guess. I agree w/ PlastikOwl though you should make sure there isn't any further damage to the suspension. Luckily the accident was only around 15mph.

 

this worked out good since:

a) nobody was hurt
b) you can hook your integra up now
c) you can say your engine broke also and then give it to me

 

this is 3.504 under a buddies name. i have an extra b18a sittin around. i want the block but i dont want the head or tranny really... if you wanna buy those
