Default SOHC converted to a DOHC

i own a 94 Honda Accord Ex Vtech 2.2L SOHC 4cyl 16Valve. I think the engine model is F22B1. I want to either enhance so that it can outperforme a DOHC or convert it to a DOHC. What should i do. And what do i need to get? What engines are compatable and more powerful.

just glue another cam to the top

and what I mean by that, is do some research before you come asking stupid questions. Unless by convert, you mean swap.

and if you mean swap, the see up in the top right hand? the search button? click it!

No offense, but based on your post you have 2 options.
1: Do a LOT of reading, and more or less answer your own question.
2: Find a reputable shop, drop off your car and a credit card and tell them to make it fast and call you when it's done.

dohc head swap is a waste, it could be done and some people already have it runnning but mostly they are using the dohc head and sohc block for FI application.

Do a search, there's alots of info to read

if i were you, i would just get a h22 instead

I upgraded my v-tech. Now I get free nights and weekends!

I would swap an H22 in or boost it. But i'd have someone else do it.

ok, first off....its vtec, not vtech. and i suggest you do ALOT of reading before you do anything to yur car. The F-series engines are a great block to turbo, but if you want a dohc then you pretty much want an h22 swap. Just, whatever you do....know what yur talking about before you do ANYTHING!
