Overheating and Difficult Starting
I have two problems with my 90 Accord LX. In the summer my car won't start after sitting in the hot sun. After it cools down it usually starts right up. This never happens in the cooler months.
In the cooler months my car tends to overheat as indicated by temperature gauge. This never happens in the hotter months.
Any ideas?

No-start problem is very likely a faulty main fuel relay. Do a search on this sight for info on finding this unit. It is a very common problem w/ 90-93 Accords,... and other models also.
Overheating may be a faulty thermostat that is not opening adequately. Hard to say why it would occur more in cold weather than hot, but I would start w/ a new thermostat. It's easy and inexpensive to replace.
Other possibilities are cooling fan problems, but they would generally not cause problems in cold weather.
Are you losing any coolant?
good luck
