Hella? Valeo? I doubt it because the cutoff line for the S2000 projectors are much sharper. Just wondering in case I want to do another retrofit.

Haha yup. I like the sharp cutoff and the color flickers so much nicer than my X5 projectors..even tho that sounds kinda dumb, I want that true xenon blue flicker look, I'm not quite satisfied with my setup. If I get another car, I'll retrofit some S2000 projectors next time..

 

s2k projectors are like valeo projectors. they have a beautiful flicker and nice a cutoff why? if you look at the reflector bowls they are both mirror finish like the valeos, s2k, fx, tsx.

bmws and mercedes are either bosch or hella projectors which have a silver bowl finish not mirror. so it gives of less of flicker and more white.

 

This may be stupid but my lights don't line up. That is the end of the beam on the driver side is 4-5 feet shorter than on the passenger side. Is this normal? The car is new and I only just noticed.

yes this is to prevent blinding of oncoming traffic

what exactly is meant by silver bowl finish instead of mirror?? are you just talking about the reflector where the hid bulb is?

its the bowl behind the hid bulb, which reflects the light
