Air filter ?
i searched for other air filter threads but the only stuff i found was pretty old, my question is, i've placed a bid on ebay for a cold air intake for my 92 4 door, and it comes with a mugen air filter, how well would this air filter compare to a k&n or apexi, or any other comparible brand
are you sure it's a real mugen filter? most "mugen" things on ebay are fake. probably around 99% of them actually. if it's the real deal, you'll be fine... if it's fake (which is my assumption), get a k&n filter to replace it
i'm not sure if its a true mugen or not but heres a link if someone could tell me whether it is or not

appears the be a legit picture of a mugen filter, but what you get in the mail is a different story....
that price is a little too cheap to be selling with a mugen filter, in my opinion, but who knows

Looks like a knockoff apexi filter...you're not going to see much difference with either the generic filter versus a k&n filter as far power. The biggest difference is filtering power.

No problem. Youre still coming out ahead. There really isnt that much difference seen between air intakes. You basically saved 60 bucks or so from not getting an AEM. At most youd see a horsepower difference and you wouldnt feel it anyways.
