Default Type R vs Skunk2 manifold

Which would be a better choice? Are they pretty similar?
Also, does anyone know the size of the Tb opening on the OEM manifold?

I can get the ITR manifold for $192.50 locally, is that a good price?

you'd be better off sticking with the oem part and that is a great price. Try to get a skunk for taht price.

How about the TB opening? I know the Skunk2 are 64mm and I have a 64mm throttle body, is the ITR 64mm also or is it 62mm?

ITR is 62, but it is much nicer on the inside than a skunk manifold.

EDIT: I think Frank(frank@b16a.com) has said that the ITR wsa 64mm as well.
I will see if i can find my caliper and check it tonight and make sure.

ITR and S2 is same. Both should have to be matched to the TB.
Cost is the only deciding factor. Go for whichever is cheaper.

BTW, ITR will not fit on B18A/B or B20B/Z unless moderately modified. Cost won't be cheap to modify it. On top of that, don't forget to get the ITR throttle cable bracket. Both B18A/B and B20B/Z will not fit on either ITR or S2 manifold without getting into the way.

yes ITR is 64 mm.

if you have B18A/B or B18C, get the skun2k so you don't have to modify. if you have b16a/itr PR3 head just get the ITR since it IS cheaper. but if you wanna buy a skunk2 anyway, i sell 'em. heheh.

the port for runner #1 (left most) is lower on the skunk2 manifold. skunk said that helps distribute the air evently.

If it's for B18C, it wouldn't fit. If it's for B16A, it wouldn't fit. If it's for B18C5, why do u need it?

What do you mean if its for a B16 it wont fit? The ITR manifold bolts right on to a B16 head.
