How many of you have gutted your Factory catalytic Convertor?

Or have replaced it with a Test pipe?


I replaced mine with a test pipe and was curious if it is fine to run no cat at all and how you guys, that have done this, like it!

 

we put a test pipe in place of the cat on a friend of mines del sol with a b18 swap. he said he noticed a small difference in performance, but no adverse effects as of now except for it being loud as hell

 

I replaced mine with a cherry bomb glass pack. Sounds great.

 

i just made my exhaust to bolt right up to the header. it is 2.5" all the way to the muffler and is kinda loud...i dont know if i felt any gains from it because i havent had a converter for over 3 years.

I have an EG hatch too, B18b, JDM ITR 4-1 header w/ 2.5" collector and a 2.5" testy pipe w/ 2.5" piping all the way back to my muffler!
