I have a 91 DX hatch automatic, and my friend has a hydro tranny off a 5th gen cx which i can get from him. How hard is the changeover and what does it require, all he has is the tranny, flywheel, and lines. No clutch, shift linkage, shifter, pedals, clutch master cylinder, etc. How hard id it first off to get the hydro tranny workin on it? Since i also have the Si head and all major components to do the head swap, i also wanted to do a tranny conversion. TIA

 

wont work....converting the car to hydro isnt the problem, its that the three mounts on the tranny are totally different so it wont bolt in...no kits, and its not worth it anyway. sorry

 

how do you exactly convert cable to hydro? thanks

 

I believe Place Racing has a cable to hydro kit....I know hasport has a hydro to cable kit, but I dont think they have a cable to hydro...

 

other way around you can go from cable to hydro
