Difference in JDM Integra front and USDM front
I wanted to post this in the appearance section, but it wouldn't let me. Sorry about that.
OK, this question is kind of weird, but I'm hoping someone can help me out. Way back when I was ordering parts for my Integra I was planning on getting the JDM front end conversion. With this I ordered the Spoon Style carbon fiber front lip meant for the JDM front end. Well, after 3 months and no front end I decided to cancel that order (for the front end) and save it for tuning and more performance parts. I unfortunately had the front lip ordered, processed, paid for, and shipped, and ever since it's been sitting in a box in my basement. Well, about a month ago I took off the old Wings West front lip and sides, and have been driving around on the stock front GSR end.
Well, last week I decided I'd give it a shot, and went down and got the front lip to see how far off it is. Now, there are two pieces of plastic on the bottom of the stock GSR front end which protrude downward on either side underneath the corner lamps (you can kind of see the one on the driver's side in the pic below). Because of these things, I wasn't able to see if the carbon fiber lip would fit well or not, but from my eyeball judgement it didn't seem too far off, if at all.
So my question is, is there any difference in the curvature and the width and the depth between the USDM and the JDM front ends, or more directly, how hard would it be to get this front lip intended for the JDM front end to fit on my USDM front end, if it is possible at all?
Thanks for your input
