Default Different tyres Fr/Rr Setup in Track days

Need some help,

Currently im having a set of 4 Nitto 555 and honestly i dont like them at all. Controling is going nowhere in Track.

As money goes. Im thinking of getting a pair of Advan A048. Just for the front. i was wondering if this matters? i ALWAYS change all 4 tyres at the same time for pass 10 years of driving. and never tried this, so i would like to have some feedbacks on different setups.

So... 2 A048 at the front and rear just keep the Nitto555 are ok? dont really want to spend another $300 for the rear wheel..

With any setup, you just have to get used to it. Can't say whether this is a great, good, or bad idea. It will obviously change the handling characteristics of your car (most likely oversteer). You just have to make sure that your car is still predictable and/or your comfortable with the performance change.

Before you make ANY change to your car, you must ask yourself what do you desire? What is this change supposed to do?

So, I ask you, what are you trying to achieve with the change of tires?

If it is just more grip up front and the lowest cost possible, then this is a way to achieve that goal. (But, may bring up other non-desirable effects.)
