Default 97 teg molding removal

does anyone know how to remove it. im talking about he molding that runs down the side of the car about a 1/4 of the way up the body. Im thinking heat gun and just peel it back slowly. The car is silver do you think the color will be faded. Any pics of tegs with it off im still undecided if im doing it or not.

The moulding is held on from the back side by nuts (it's screwed on). The only way to remove it would be to unscrew it and get the holes filled and repaint. For examples look at any ITR. The come w/o the moulding. IMO I think tegs look a ton better with the moulding removed.
