Vertical play in shifter.

Default Vertical play in shifter.

Got an '88 HF I just stuck a ZC in, and I'm getting way too much up-and down play in the shifter. I pull the shifter up, towards the headliner, and it moves up, about 1-2 inches. Am I missing a piece? If so, what?

did u use the roll pin on the linkage, or did u use a bolt ???
