I WANT TO KNOW IF I CAN PUT SOME NITROUS ON A B16A ENGINE WITH CTR PISTONS....LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS???

 

Attaining the proper AFR is critical when dealing with Nitrous. Get on the dyno and get it tuned off the bottle, and on the bottle. Might also want to get a colder plug, like an NGK 8.

 

What is the exact compression ratio of your CP's?

 

in a b16 with pr3 head with the ctr's

STD = 11.643438609136867
.25 OS = 11.703231023151065

 

bringing this back from the dead. im attempting to do the same thing and need more info. here's my setup

b16a2 (stock now but will be going with ctr pistons and s2s1 cams)
75 shot dry
i/h/e
walbro 255
some sort of ignition setup (dont know which yet,suggestions?)
tuning will be done with vafc2

dont need ignition setup.. oem setup is fine

 

why got with ctr pistons if you are going to use nitrous but if you are set on this then i don't think a vafc will be sufficient
