I just bought some Apex-i N1 99 spec coilovers for my R and was wondering how do you adjust the damping? Or are these non adjustable? The seller said you can put a allen in the shaft and it will click, but doesnt seem to be anything in there to turn?
Any help from anyonw would be great.

. anyone got any ideas if i can order the bushing from apexi direct?

yea turn the **** all the way to the right for full stiff, then if i remember right 13 clicks down is the softest setting, any clicks after that won't do anything.

yep... clockwise ALL the way is full stiff, and 13 clicks CCW is softest... any further and its useless......
ALSO, make sure you install the coilovers CORRECTLY....
you use the middle collars to "preload" the spring... its not really used to control height like all the other coilovers....
instead, to control height, you loosen the very bottom collar, and rotate the part where it connects to the LCA... i repeat, DO NOT use the middle collars to adjust height.. you can to an extent, but i wouldnt preload teh springs too much... i called apexi direct for this info...

Thank for all the feedback
, apex-i website was useless. I knew the peps on H-T would come thru.
I dont understand what u mean by "preload the spring" ? I ve heard of this term before but dont know what it means, any help would be great!

I still don't get the preloading of the spring. I have a dc5 with the type-v coilovers and everyone says to not preload the spring. Then what is the point of those collars on the spring??? Maybe someone can explain in more detail the point of being able to preload when it seems like everywhere I read says to not preload.
BTW preloading is when you turn the collars under the spring to compress the spring before you lower the car. This makes the spring compressed more all the time. So its like making the spring stiffer without having a stiffer spring. But there is some movement that gets affected because you are now making the spring have less movement then it was designed for.
And of course you pay more for this type of coilover because you can adjust the height independantly (sp?) of the rest of the system. So other coilovers you adjust the height by preloading the spring. Clarify that part if I am wrong, but I don't know too much about the other type.
