Default RSR Exmag Vs. Skunk2 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Which exhaust do you guys like better? i gota eg hatch b16a2 itr cams itr tb, itr mani, vafc, cam gears, jun flywheel, cai, greddy header,testpipe,p28 socketed kenji, might be missin few things. anyways i got the skunk2 on my car. i love it and everyone else does too. its just loud and gets me into trouble. Ive been hearing only good things about the rsr exmag about looks, sound and performance. I bought it and should be getting it friday. just wondering if i made the right choice to sell my skunk2 and get the rsr. let me know guys thanks.

Does anyone have a pic of the RSR exmag on their 92-95 hatch? if so post it

im deciding between those too myself. The exmax is sweet cuz it's quit and it gives you a lot of mid range torque. My friend had it on his ek hatch. BUT, the skunk 2 sounds sweet when the vtec kicks in. Let me know what you pick up

I like the Ex-Mag better than my old Tanabe SRM. The only thing is that it keeps on hitting the gas tank and i don't know how to correct this problem. It sounds pretty annoying at times . But aside from that it looks great and sounds nice (when its not rattling against the gas tank ).

I have the had the Skunk 2 Megapower cat-back for about a year and it is great. I chose it out of all the other exhausts out there and haven't been disapointed. I also have had many compliments. So unless you need a change, I think you are just going backwards. If you do install the RSR let us know how you like it.

Screw Junk2..But well, as long as a bad exhaust wont blow your motor.. i think u can give it a try..

Personally I would try japanese made. Say FGK or 5Zigen..

I have the ex-mag on my 95 si and have no complaints about it. Its got a very nice low sound that doesn't grab to much attention and you can cruise on the highway and not be annoyed.

JIC Magic gets my vote....... oh wait....cann't choose that...

When I was shopping for an exhaust, both of these were on the list also. I would go with RSR Exmag, it's extremely straight, with extremely minimal bending.

How quiet is the Ex-Mag? How does it sound when you're driving soft? How does it sound when driving hard? Does it sound anything like the stock exhaust system on the G35/350Z? I like how those cars sound stock.

Also, why does its piping hit the gas tank? Anybody else getting that problem?

So, I'm just supposed to imagine how it sounds? That's more like using my imagination over brain.

Also, if you haven't noticed, we're talking about having a quieter exhaust so that obviously rules out the Ex-Mag GT II series where the piping runs under the gas tank. As for the Ex-Mag catback, the piping for that runs through the same path as the factory piping does.

it was my understanding that skunk2 exhausts were made by RSR, kind of like the invidia exhausts. either exhaust is good imo.

if you want to get the RSR EX-mag GTII and plan on you dropping your car more then 2" then you can just forget it. the exhaust piping will come extremely close to the ground.
