Default timing belt

i'm driving an automatic 1999 accord with 90,000 miles on it. when do i need to get the timing belt changed? i have heard from 75,000 to 105,000.

Supposed to be changed at 90K.

It is recommended that you change the timing belt every 60k miles. I have seen them last up to 100-105k. I would recommend you change that thing before something worse happens. Unless you want your motor to go so you can do a motor swap

Honda reccomneds changing the belt at 105,000 unless you live in very cold or hot climates.
I had one last 150,000 miles.

You should replace it now. Run a search on timing belt in the archives as well and recent and you will find some good info on it.

i work at a honda dealership and i have never heard this, only 6 years or 90k miles.

Older hondas are recommended at 90k, 6th gens like mine are at 105,000
Talk to the service dept or look in the owners manual.
