ZC into 4wd wagon
Got my ZC over the weekend. Throwing it into my daily driver, a 1990 RT4WD. Woulda just kept the A6 that was in there, but it is burning quite a bit of oil, not to mention smoking more than me. A replacement single-cam was only a $100 cheaper, so I swung for the ZC
If anyone has done this, or has a couple extra pointers, all are appreciated.

LS webs, currently rattle canned in the middle. Got a killer deal on them. Gonna rip the crappy rubber thats on them now, off, and have the black powdercoated and the lip polished. Cant lie, they will most likely end up on my next project car.

Can't wait for winter

Not the cleanest I've ever seen, but some degreaser and a power wash, should be fine. Gonna take the paint of the distributor as well, not really sure why its there. Gonna do a Centerforce clutch and most likely a Pacesetter e-manifold (supercheap).

Well I assume you have to keep your transmission maybe because of the 4WD? It's still a D-Series tranny so it'll bolt right onto the ZC.
But otherwise it's an unplug/pullout/dropin/plugin operation. Those things came with the A6 so it's fuel injection so everything just hooks on up.
I always wanted to find one of those and pull pimp-wagon 4 wheel burnouts.
What's the drive ratio on those things. I heard it's still pretty heavy in the front and just a little power to the rear. Do you know the numbers?
I <3 the wagons. Post Pics!! If it has those wacky white hubcapped wheels your car will be my new fav h-t EF.

That wagon is SICK
I'm not going all out on this, just using as a daily driver. I'm pretty experienced with Honda's, so I know what it takes for the swap and what not. Just wonderin about peoples personal experiences.
Got any more pics of this wagon? Leme know! Thanks!

you should pull pout the multi clutch system the rtawd system uses to put power to all for wheels. honda tuning did that to the awd integra so that it would be a full time awd system rather then a mostly fwd. read up on that and you'll be doing pretty good.
This is just my daily driver/winter car/pizza delivery car.... gonna be pretty basic. Only thing left is i/h/e (which will be REAL soon) and in the spring, new dampers and springs.
I'll post pics of my project car once I get her started. Currently looking for boost :D

the zc is a d.

the zc is a d.
The 1st gen Integra motor might be labeled as a "D," and "D" parts might work... but its NOT a "D." Its a ZC. Thats what the stamp on the block says incase you were uniformed.
Can you reuse the cams? Distributor? For that matter any part of the head? I can reuse ALL SORTS of D series stuff on a B. Does that make my B16 a D? No! Thats like comparing first gen prelude B series to a B series of today. Or how bout using an F series tranny on an H longlbock?
Not the same.
Drop your lack of wisdom somewhere else. Dont jack my thread!
