all season performance tire for 94 ex coupe?
yk-420s are what i have now but they're totally smoked. what do you guys reccomend for a tire that fits the same niche, but handles even better? i want a 40k or 50k treadwear warranty. it's gotta handle, gotta be all-season, h or better rating, decently priced...? i've heard i should check out toyo proxis, sumitomo (who knows the model #) and some other stuff i don't remember. i'm shopping 205/60/15. thanks!!
here's a few,
BFG Traction t/a-h
Goodyear eagle gt-hr
dunlop d65t touring
goodyear's new baby...assurance triple tread
and as horribly "muscle car" they are, bfg radial t/s are also good...
or if you're looking for excellent snow tires, nokian hakkapeliitta's are the best thing that happened to performance sized snow tires...
either way, check out http://www.tirerack.com

Here are a few that I recommend, depending on your driving style, these are pretty decent.
Firestone Firehawk Indy 500
BFGoodrich Traction T/A
Falken Ziex 512
Khumo Ecsta ASX
Toyo Proxes FZ4
Falken Azenis

my roommate ran the azenis for autocross and he loved em! but they seem like more of a summer tire than a wet tire, am i correct? anyway, i went with the bfg traction t/a. so far so good. thanks for the input guys, i'll report my findings back later. what i hear is that they're the best you can possibly get for the price (which is significantly lower than most of the comparable tires)
