What do you mean by coolant? Do you mean Anti Freeze?

Do you still have your AC? I would check those lines. And what part of the car is it leaking in?

Check the heater hoses going into the heater core - one of them is probably loose or pinched, or the hard brass lines might be crushed.

what could be wrong with the valve? and how would it leak from the valve to inside the car? maybe this might help.. the heater works, warm when idle.... but hotter when you're driving? thanks

you are going to have to get a flashlight, get your car in the air, start it up, get a pan to collect the coolant, climb under and follow the leak. could be a small hole in one of the hoses at the firewall or just a loose hose clamp, that happened to me. easy fix. good luck.

well. i checked all the lines.. made sure all the hoses were clamped down. one of them wasn't clamped down completely i felt some coolant leaking from there, so i clamped the hose, ran the car for about 20 min let it sit over night everything seemed fine no leaks when i woke up. thanks for all the help.

sorry...guess i didnt read the thread title correctly...i didnt know it was leaking into the car...my leak was just a loose clamp at the firewall in the engine bay. Glad you fixed it though.

most likely when you were taking out the old engine or putting the new on in... the rear L bracket caught up on the heater core and broke its lines INSIDE of the car

Well, he said coolant. So, it's most likely got something to do with his heating system.
