What size cat do i need to run jdm itr header on 95 gsr exhaust

What size cat do i need to run jdm itr header on 95 gsr exhaust
i have the 95 gsr exhaust and i want to run a 98+ jdm itr header. i"ve searched but i can't find exactly what i'm lookin for. The jdm itr header is longer than my stock one(no o2 bung in my stock one) so i know it wont mount up right. the new cat has to be shorter than my stock one. Anyone know exactly what size? Thanks guys

what type of exhaust are you running? your best bet will be a 2.5" carsound cat, the universal short (13") one. pm kteller, he can tell you for sure.

i think a jdm itr header has a 2.5 inch collector. So i think you need a cat that is 2.5 on one side, and the other side is whatever size the gsr exhaust is. Like Dfreezy said, a 2.5 in cat would be your best bet. A muffler shop would be able to handle this kind of modification. Sorry, not really sure if this helps or not.

IIRC, the stock 94-99 gsr cat is around 13-14 inches. stock 94-01 and 00-01 gsr's have 17 inch cats.
