JDM right?

Pros: more hp-160, 170 2nd gen, cheap motor, vtec baby vtec, fun to rev, short gearing.

Cons: Less torque-bad in a car as heavy as the Integra, 1st gen cable trans (ungodly freeway revs), 2nd gen is hydraulic, have to rev the **** out of it to make power, requires premium gas (10:2 compression), I didnt read your side cali emmisions.

I'm sure I've left some out. Should be around as quick as a 99-00 si I'm guessing.

IMO, i wouldnt do it unless you plan on boosting or building the hell out of your PEE16.. i dropped a gsr in my 94 ls, pretty sweet but not done with the build-up yet... i would say go with a b18c or h22, the PEE16 just doesnt have enough torque to pull the pigtegra's... you'll like a 1.8 or bigger in that car, IMO... but the choice is yours, and have fun...

Yeah - droppin' a B16 is like taking a step backwards. I wouldn't do it unless your motor is completly gone and is your only trans. If I was in your position I would drop a B20(Z) cause it's about the same as a LS motor, it's cheap, you can either go vtec, or build it and boost like hell, plus it bolts right into the stock engine mounts(only minor changes). Good Luck

i don't think the B16 is gonna push your integra all that well neither considering the torque is a lot less than that of a B18 motor... Do wat they say and get a B18c or H22.

why are u letting go of your current b18b1?

if its still good and doenst have a crazy amount of miles, go for an forced induction set up (turbo/drag gen3)

if alls disaster, save up for a b18c1, imho going for a b16 is going a step back

i definitely would not drop a stock b16 in my load for the mear fact of torque, our cars specifically come with that much torque because of weight... yea your gonna have a lot better top end but your gonna need torque to get you up there.... if you build that b16 than its a different story.........

A Boosted B20 would be cool. A great motor to work with.
