Default d16 swap intake manifold/evac problems

I just replaced a d16 engine on a commuter car, with help from some gear head friends as soon as the car started they bailed on me. I have a hose that is not connected its coming out of the intake manifold on the fire wall side, and when the can is runing it has sucktion, the evac cannister is already connected to a pair of hoses and I have no Idea where this one goes, I don't know **** about cars, my first attempt at self fix, so go easy, thanks in advance if you have suggestions.

it is coming out of the intake manifold on the driver side between the manifold and the firewall kind of towards the bottom of the manifold. I plugged it with something and the car reved aroound 900-1000rpm when I take tohe plug the car revs a little higher.

Your EVAP sensor is supposed to connect to that vacuum port and another vacuum line goes from that sensor to the evac canister. Check your wiring harness in that area.. I bet theres an unused plug hanging there

for not knowing **** about cars,
and this being your first attempt at fixing something.

an engine swap is a pretty hefty feat,
pat yourself on the back.
