Default got head? gsr turbo head advice please

Ive been looking into valvetrain of all sorts and its getting over whelming...

supertech, omni power, ferrea, and now KMS

all seem like good stuff but which to pick-- searched ALL the KMS threads here in hte archive and some say good stuff some say bad... mixed emotions.

here is a link to their block guards and compare them to the GE block guard below-- notice the "scalloped" look of the GE vs. extra holes in the KMS... which is better?
how about with valves, is Titanium really that bad in that it wears out faster? even with newer forged materials

We run Supertech in our GSR head in our racecar. We have never had any failures what so ever. The car has been taken to almost 11k on a turbo motor making 800hp, so I can say they work well. If you need anything from them, you can ask me or Earl for help

Supertech are Manley valves so I'm sure they are very high quality even if less expensive than say Ferrea valves. As for Titanium valves... ...what for? Do you plan on revving to 15k RPM anytime soon? Stick with undercut, SS, swirl polished valves.

no i dont but its a package deal - and i could care less about the valves them selves being Ti, i was concerned and still am -- about the retianers, i would prefer steel retainers.

If you only want 9K, supertech/RM are both excellent, with my biased nutswinging going towards RM!

i pretty much think i decided on the supertech for one reason because they have been making valves for years, and been in the racing scene for over 20 years i think

although they make a lot of domestic stuff (eeeewwww!)

get your engine tuned good...even 500whp you will not have trouble with stock valves.....just upgrade your valve springs incase you OVERREV like most people do... hehe!!!!

Not any more. Skunk has a new supplier.
Also, Supertech are not manleys... maybe the other way around
